EOU® semi-welded plate heat exchanger adopts half-welded structure. One side is fully welded for corrosive or high-pressure medium, the other side uses gasket for easy maintenance. It is widely used in chemical, refrigeration and HVAC industries.
Get QuotationEOU® Semi-welded Plate Heat Exchanger is a hybrid plate heat exchanger design. Alternating plate channels are welded together, while the other side relies on gaskets for sealing. The welded passage handles corrosive, high temperature or high pressure media, and the gasket side can be disassembled for inspection and cleaning. It balances sealing safety and maintainability, solving the limitation of fully welded and traditional gasket plate heat exchangers.
Corrugated plates are paired and welded into plate packs. One fluid flows inside the welded plate passages without touching rubber gaskets. The other fluid flows through gasket-sealed channels. Corrugations create strong turbulent flow to achieve high heat transfer efficiency. The gasket side can be opened for cleaning and plate replacement, ideal when one medium is corrosive and the other is clean.
